ÜMİT DOĞAN

He was born in 1975 in Samsun. In 2003, he started to learn and apply the original printmaking technique at the Çamlıca House of Art. He had the opportunity to work with the doyens of original printmaking such as Semih Balcıoğlu, Mustafa Pilevneli, and Süleyman Saim Tekcan. He won the first-place prize in the original printmaking field, in 2012, in the 71st State Painting and Sculpture Competition and in 2018, in the 74th State Painting and Sculpture Competition. Doğan has an exhibition award in the 35th FISAE International Spain Exlibris Competition and a certificate of achievement within the scope of the 1st International Printmaking Biennial. In addition to his solo exhibitions, the artist has participated in group exhibitions in many art institutions, including Gallery Işık, CKM Gallery and IMOGA Art Space. The artist has been working in the studio of IMOGA since 2003.
